A father learned the sick truth about what was happening to his son when the 10-year-old boy told him he didn’t want to go back to Tara Gotovnik’s home.
According to the New York Post, citing KITI, Gotovnik allegedly used a slushy laced with sleeping pills to drug the child, causing him to suffer from slurred speech and double vision. Then, she allegedly sexually assaulted him.
According to police, who began investigating Gotovnik after the boy’s father contacted them, the 35-year-old Wisconsin woman allegedly took her clothes off and told the child to perform sex acts on her. She also is said to have used one of the sex toys she had on him.
The child detailed the alleged sexual assault, which matched his father’s description, and described another incident when the woman drugged him with a pill, which made him urinate on himself, throw up, and feel dizzy.
The boy also revealed Gotovnik told him they could “go online and make money for doing it.”
Gotovnik admitted to giving the 10-year-old child Ambien two separate times — one of those times being when the boy was allegedly sexually assaulted — but said:
“I don’t remember anything from that night.”
Gotovnik was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and first-degree sexual assault of a child, according to AOL.
She could be facing a sentence of at least 25 years in prison.
It is unknown how Gotovnik and the young boy were acquainted.
