Monique Price felt an “urge” when she was a 15-year-old girl — it was a feeling that would stick with her into her adult life, eventually becoming an addiction.
The now-25-year-old mother of four admits that she has had sex with more than 100 partners since the age of 14 and that she still feels the need to have it “at least six times a day,” according to the Mirror.
The Missouri mom said:
“It is just this uncontrollable urge that takes over your whole mind and body.”
Price knows she is a sex addict.
She believes her addiction began after taking part in an orgy with multiple men when she was 15 years old. It’s surprising to her because she did not enjoy her first sexual experience:
“The first time I had sex when I was 14 it was so painful and I never thought I’d do it again.”
But after that, she became aware of her need for sex:
“When I was a young girl I could feel my body having these uncontrollable urges and weird feelings. When I went to the doctor he told me it was teenage hormones. He asked me if I was sexually active but of course I lied because my mum was in the room.”
She would meet men online and lie about her age just to have sex with them. That out-of-control behavior continued as she grew older, and nothing was going to get in the way of her sex life, not even her children:
“I was definitely a bad mother. I would put my children to sleep and then leave the house to have sex and wouldn’t come back for days.”
Leaving her children alone for days on end was not the only line of danger she was putting them in; she was putting their lives at risk before they were even born. She said:
“Even when I was pregnant with my fourth child, the desire for sex just get [sic] stronger because of the hormones and I would have unprotected sex with lots of different guys. I picked up STDs that could have killed my unborn child and still I didn’t stop because my body didn’t want me to.”
After being trapped in a “deep dark hole,” Price found help in the same place that was feeding her out-of-control sexual appetite — a dating website.
What started out as just another one-night stand with a man ended up becoming a fulfilling relationship. Price began to fight off her urges and take control of her sex life.
Her now-husband, Brandon Lamar Blu, became the man who helped her battle her need for constant sex. Eight months after their initial fling, the pair were married. The family grew again when they welcomed a baby together.
Now, the couple works together to keep the woman’s addiction to sex under control, enjoying sex two times a week.
