Jaden Smith, the son of Will and Jada Pickett-Smith, reached a major milestone in his music career by earning 100,000,000 Spotify streams for his album “Syre.”

Spotify is “a music, podcast, and video streaming service.”

As a result of the celebratory moment, Will Smith took to Instagram to congratulate his son in a pretty father-like way—or in other words, in the most embarrassing way possible.

Will decided to parody Jaden’s music video for his song, “ICON.” You can watch the original at the bottom of this article:

The dad wrote, in part:

It is a delicious gift to a parent to admire his children. Keep doin’ you!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, even if it just your dad being a dad.

Jaden later responded to his dad’s video with a comment on Instagram:

He wrote:

Dad this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life you’re the best father anyone could ask for thank you for allowing me to express myself even when I take it too far sometimes I love you more than you will ever know because you taught me…

How sweet.
