It’s been three seasons since Ben Higgins looked to find the love of his life amidst a group of 30 women on ABC’s “The Bachelor.” And after a few months of searching, and making great TV, the now-29-year-old found her.

At the end of his season, he got down and one knee and proposed to Lauren Bushnell, a now-27-year-old former flight attendant.

Since their highly publicized engagement, as with most “Bachelor” couples, the two dealt with sudden fame and transitioning lives the best they could.

However, sadly, in May, they called off their wedding. At the time, they released a joint statement:

We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time.

But parting ways is sometimes easier said than done. Just last month, Ben said the thought of being with anyone else, let alone kissing another woman, “would be really hard”:

“If I were to kiss somebody right now in my life, it would hold a lot of weight. It would be really hard for me.

Right now, for me to kiss anybody … my chest kind of gets tight. I know that’s really difficult for me.”

That, however, is a sentiment he does not share with former fiancée Lauren. According to the fashion and beauty blogger’s Instagram, she is already locked down by a new man:

Her caption, just one word, said it all:

Dibs.

According to People magazine, she first introduced her boyfriend, Devin Antin, to fans when she began posting videos and pictures with him on her social media in early August — just three months after she and Ben called off their engagement.

Although it appeared as though their relationship had been headed south for some time, it’s clear that while one of them is nowhere near being over their breakup, the other definitely is.
