For a lot of people, a splash of red wine on a white outfit would be enough to ruin their day, but Eleanor Walton decided to make it work.

As People reports, Walton was dressed to impress for a day at the Ripon horse race in North Yorkshire, England. That is until someone spilled red wine and stained Walton’s stylish white jumpsuit with reddish-pink splotches.

However, instead of going home to change, Walton came up with a novel solution and reached for more red wine.

With the help of friend Mia Williamson, Walton took another four glasses of wine and set about turning the stained white jumpsuit into a fabulous dip-dyed outfit with a touch of hippie chic. Williamson tweeted a before and after photo and wrote:

So we’re [two] hours into the races, and el comes and tells me someone has spilt red wine down her … no problem. Got some more red wine and fixed it, and I think we’ve just made a new product to PLTs festival range.

Walton later provided an explanation of how the new design was accomplished. She wrote that she ended up sitting “fully naked in the toilet while the girls created this masterpiece. I spent a looooong time under the hand dryer. And we had an open bar all day so there was no shortage of wine.”

She also acknowledged that she had quite a bit of wine before the mishap, which might account for how she came up with the idea to dye her jumpsuit to match the stain:

I don’t know what part of my brain told me this was the reasonable solution.

Williamson’s tweet went viral, and Walton was applauded for her innovative way of handling a stained outfit situation.

Although, some wondered about the practical side of wandering around in wine-soaked clothing all day.

Walton even got approval from the jumpsuit’s designer. The brand Pretty Little Thing retweeted Williamson’s photo and joked, “Safe to say that wasn’t a ‘pour’ decision.”
