Following the birth of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s third child via surrogate, daytime talk show host Wendy Williams put the couple on the spot.

TMZ has reported that the couple paid their surrogate $45,000 to give birth to their child, as Dearly previously reported. The couple’s net worth totals around $200 million.

According to Too Fab, Williams said on Wednesday’s show she believes Kim and Kanye could have paid their surrogate more than they did.

Williams said:

“So when you’re a surrogate, what happens? $45,000, which is not a lot of money for the situation. So what happens, you grab the baby and leave her bleeding and dismiss her? No, seriously.”

Williams first commented on the matter in June, when it was first revealed that Kim and Kanye were having a third child via surrogate. She said during her show that she hoped the couple would go above and beyond the $45,000 payment that was recommended by the agency, possibly throwing in perks for the surrogate and a large tip.

It’s unclear if that’s what the couple did.

On Wednesday, the host also wondered if the woman who gave birth to their third daughter will try to make additional money over that fact:

“Will she write a book? Will she start selling stories? Will she give some to Hot Topics? ‘Kim called me every night, Kanye called me every hour, they insisted I only eat beyond burgers, salads, out of a plastic container like they do on the show.'”

Kim and Kanye’s third child was born on January 16 at 12:47 a.m., weighing seven-pounds, six-ounces. As previously reported, the couple released this statement:

Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.

The new baby girl’s name has yet to be revealed. Williams suggested on her show that the couple name her “Wild”:

“I like the name Wild. Wild West. This is a baby who, if they do their money correctly, she will never have to work a day in her life or apply for a job like me and you. When we have to apply for jobs, you need a normal name. Although, if I got an application here at Wendy and her name was Wild West, I’d be like, bring her to the dance floor immediately. I need to meet her.”

Who knows? Maybe Kim and Kanye will pay homage to their surrogate by naming the child after her.
