For nearly 10 years, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford have been entertaining morning audiences with witty banter, touching interviews, and many, many cocktails.
They’re well known for their light-hearted reoccurring segments involving alcohol, including #BoozedayTuesday and #WineWednesday.
A regular hostess on the program is author Jenna Bush. Some may know Bush as one of the fraternal twin daughters of 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.
Even though she’s a presidential daughter, she doesn’t hold back the sass. She easily joins in on the fun, and Monday was no exception.
Bush filled in for Gifford during a top baby names of the year segment. Flanked with two glasses of wine at their sides, the hosts revealed that Bush’s first name, Jenna, ranked among the top 200 baby names the year she was born — 164 to be exact.Screenshot/NBC
Bush and Kotb revealed that if the journalist had been born today, her first name may have been “Summer,” since that also ranked at 164 this year:
“My name would be Summer…Summer Bush.”
The co-hosts instantly started cracking up. Kotb doubled over her desk in laughter as Bush carried on joking:
“Y’all, I think I need a new job!”
You can even hear several members of the crew bursting out hearty guffaws behind the camera.

It’s good to know that even as grown-ups, this flock of ladies can still tap into their sillier side from time to time.
