Surveillance video captured the frightening moment a three-year-old girl was pulled away from her father by a gang of men on a New York City sidewalk.
The dad was shot and injured trying to prevent his daughter from being kidnapped.
On September 17 around 2 p.m., a man and his daughter were ambushed in the Bronx in broad daylight.
The newly released video shows the dad trying to drag his daughter to safety before three gunmen chased him down and fired a shot at the 30-year-old, reports WLNY.
Footage captured the attackers fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg. According to Fox 61, the 30-year-old is in stable condition and his little girl wasn’t hurt.
Police are searching for the gunmen.

The New York Police Department Crime Stoppers has offered up to $2,500 for anyone who can provide information about the shooting.
