From the outside, it seems like Mandy Moore’s life just couldn’t get any better at the moment.
The 33-year-old actress is keeping busy with her star role on the hit TV show “This Is Us,” all the while celebrating her new engagement to fiancé Taylor Goldsmith.
Her smile seems a little bit brighter as of late.
However, the starlet is making it known she’s not one to make a big fuss over her impending walk down the aisle, especially since this isn’t her first time doing so.
In March 2009, Moore tied the knot with musician Ryan Adams, but the two split seven years later, in June of 2016. A source previously told People magazine:
“She got married so young, and even though the age difference wasn’t huge, it was still tough on the relationship.”
Despite the marriage’s end, Moore seems to be carrying a few things into her new relationship, namely her desire to lie low, telling Us Weekly:
“This is my second go-round. I feel like I eloped before and I think I’ll probably keep it very small again. I’ve never been the girl that wanted to wear a white dress. No judgement, but it’s not for me. I think it’ll be just as small with family and friends. Quiet, no bridal magazines for me.”
She continued, saying the new engagement “doesn’t feel any different” than the last, however there is one difference she’s noticed:
“People are asking me more about my relationship than before. But it feels the same, which I guess is how it should be.”
For now, however, Moore is focusing on keeping “This Is Us” fans hooked on the show’s emotional rollercoaster, which, clearly, is no reflection on her seemingly bright future with her soon-to-be husband.
