“Teen Mom OG” parents Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra have been fighting negative comments on their social media since sharing photos of their newborn daughter.

Now, the dad is doing something about it.

On Wednesday, Tyler shared a close-up of their baby girl, Vaeda, who was born last month. And some fans were quick to draw conclusions after seeing the sweet photo.

As Dearly reported, some critics claimed the child’s skin tone was too dark and that she couldn’t have been fathered by Tyler.

Tyler was outraged by the accusations and responded to the negativity. He wrote in the comments:

Wow. I’m actually just appalled at the ridiculously asinine comments about my newborn. We live in a world that is so divided, judgmental, self righteous & opinionated…& unfortunately it’s very evident with these comments.

Many fans pointed out that the child likely just had jaundice, which is common during the early months.

The dad later shared a side-by-side photo of his two youngest daughters, Novalee and Vaeda, at the same age — seemingly in response to the rumor.

He captioned the post:

Novalee & Vaeda at the same age! We make some beautiful babies don’t we!? hahaha! @catelynnmtv I love you!

Many fans thought the children looked like “twins” and were quick to support the reality star couple. One Instagram user wrote:

I love u guys and the babies look like twins ignore these hating a** people looking for clout this girls are beautiful and are twins congratulations u guys are amazing!!!!!

Thankfully, it doesn’t seem the couple has been dissuaded from using social media because of the drama. They’ve continued to post photos of their new bundle of joy for fans to see.

Do you think the two girls look alike? Let us know in the comments!

It’s jaundice! Any mother who has ever dealt with it in their own children, would recognize it. My oldest 2 looked like little natives before they grew out of it. Beautiful little family, people should be happy for them and not be digging on them…

Beautiful babies! It doesn’t matter what I or anyone else thinks! Be happy, be a family and ignore the haters! I do think they look alike, babies are all different! Carry on!
