Two Mississippi sisters are charged in the brutal death of their mother days after they tried to run her over with the family car.

According to Enterprise-Journal, Amariyona Hall, 14, and her 12-year-old sister allegedly stabbed their mother multiple times and shot her once in the chest with a small-caliber handgun on Friday.

After the attack, the sisters are said to have asked a family member across the street for a ride to McComb because their grandmother had just died. The neighbor called the girls’ mother to confirm the news but received no answer.

Next, Amariyona and her sister reportedly walked farther down the road to other relatives’ home.

As WLBT reports, the victim’s younger sister discovered 32-year-old Erica Hall lying outside of her home after the attack.

Hall’s aunt, Robin Coney, said the girls told her they didn’t commit the crime.

She said:

“The girls, when I drove up, they were like ‘Tee Tee we didn’t do this.’  And I was like ‘OK, if y’all didn’t do it, where were y’all when the people that was doing it did it?’”

Coney also noted that the knife used in the attack was still in Hall’s back when she died.

According to the New York Post, this isn’t the sisters’ first attempt to off their mother.

Days prior, the girls allegedly tried to run Hall over with the family’s car. Following that incident, the mother of four punished the girls.

The victim had also taken away their cell phones, but it is unclear if this was before or after their attempt to run her over.

Pike County Sheriff Kenny Cotton said:

“With something like that, she should have made charges and had them arrested then.”

Officials believe the fatal attack was the sisters’ form of revenge. Further, both of the suspects have been scheduled for mental evaluations.

As the New York Post reports, Cotton said:

“I can’t imagine what’s going on inside their minds to process that. A mom is a mom no matter what.”

Hall had two other daughters, ages 1 and 16. There is no word on the children’s father.

Amariyona is being charged as an adult with murder and is being held at the Pike County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

The name and charges of the 12-year-old suspect are being withheld due to youth court proceedings. She is being held in the Adams County Detention Center.

How can you even contemplate doing this let alone actually doing it I’d throw up just thinking seriously about doing something like this I know for certain I’d be unable to actually do anything like this. It makes me feel deep saddness for these clearly very mentally ill girls. They definitely need to never be allowed to interact with society period and be locked up and monitored in an asylum somewhere. There is absolutely zero reason to ever consider these girls reformed or capable of peacefully existing in society you don’t just brutally murder your own mother, and just be like well I talked about it for years and I’m good now.

Let me guess. There’s no father and the daughters are not full blooded relations. These are children who were brought up with no morals and discipline. The deceased had her first child at 16 and her last at 31.

I think half the world is getting more and more insane. The other half are totally bemused and don’t know what to do about it.

This is really disheartening to comprehend. How can’t anyone torture and kill their own mother. These two evil young rotten sisters needs to be incarcerated for a very long time. My hear go out to the Hall’s extended family.

They should both be charged as adults and put away for life. They are evil monsters who should never get out of prison. They deserve the death penalty but due to their age they won’t get what they deserve
