While gearing up for their game in Mexico City, Mexico, against the Los Angeles Raiders, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady met with a few reporters.
As he answered the questions that were thrown at him, Brady began talking about how each week and each game is unique in its own way.
When he started describing how playing in Mexico City was different than playing in the States, he talked about his home life:
“I think naturally you have, when you are on the road like this, less, you know there are less things to do. My family’s not here, my kids aren’t here, there’s nobody telling me what I did wrong in the house, so it’s just being at home. Now, it’s being here and trying to just figure out how to win a game.”
Brady quickly reacted to his admission that he may enjoy having “less things to do” and “nobody telling me what I did wrong in the house.”Tom Brady/Instagram
Following the few chuckles he received after his cheeky comment, he made sure to address his wife, Gisele:
“I didn’t mean that, babe, so I take that back.”
The Patriots ended up defeating the Raiders 33 to 8, but there is still no word on how Gisele feels about the comment.
Let’s just say it wouldn’t be surprising if the five-time Super Bowl champion was sharing a dog bed with the many pups they have running around their house.
