Reportedly, Alaina went missing after the massacre led to 12 deaths, and dozens of injuries.
The actress responded to a tweet posted by the student’s friend from college since the now-deceased gunman opened fire inside the bar.
The college roommate initially announced Alaina’s disappearance in a tweet. Ashley wrote:
My suitemate is still missing, she is wearing denim shorts, a blue flannel and sneakers, pls let me know if you know anything
#Borderline.
Mowry-Housely, 40, quickly responded:
Ashely this is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley. Can you please DM me your information?
Ashley later tweeted that Alaina was the only student who remains “unaccounted for.”

Hours later, Mowry-Housley updated fans once more. She tweeted:
We haven’t found her yet. It’s been 7 hrs since the shooting.
Adam Housley told the Los Angeles Times he fears the worst. The 18-year-old’s Apple Watch and iPhone locator showed she was present at the bar, on the dance floor.
@adamhousley arrived at the hospital searching for his niece Alaina. A guard didn’t let him through, saying it was on lockdown. He said Alaina, a Pepperdine freshman, was at the bar with several friends. Her Apple Watch and iPhone still showed her location on the dance floor.

He said:
“My gut is saying she’s inside the bar, dead. I’m hoping I’m wrong.”
According to the LA Times, two of Alaina’s suitemates jumped out through a broken window to escape gunfire at the packed country dance bar when the masked gunman, David Ian Long, started shooting into a crowd, before taking his own life.
There have been no updates on Alaina’s status.
The Mowry-Housley family are praying for her safe return.
The actress asked followers on social media to share any information that can help locate her niece.
