And the Duggar family continues to get bigger.

As People reports, over the weekend, 26-year-old John-David Duggar and his 24-year-old bride, Abbie Burnett, exchanged vows on November 3.

The pair wed in Arkansas and as John-David and Abbie told People, they couldn’t be more excited to be husband and wife:

We are so excited to be married! It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us. Most of all we are thankful to Christ for bringing us together. This is going to be an amazing journey!

As Dearly previously reported, the couple started courting in June of this year and “fell in love very quickly.”

One month after announcing their courtship, John-David and Abbie got engaged.

John-David, who is a licensed pilot, proposed in an airplane hanger while standing in a pile of rose petals arranged in the shape of a heart.

The newlyweds met after John “flew in for a church event” in Oklahoma, where Abbie is from. As John’s wife explained it was at that event that the couple “really got connected then.”

John’s parents and Abbie’s in-laws, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, offered these words to the new couple in a video posted on YouTube:

Jim Bob said, in part:

“Michelle, I remember 34-and-a-half years ago, when we got married, and it seems like yesterday. But I tell you what it’s such a joy marrying your best friend and becoming partners for life and for ministry and raising up children, then serving the lord. There’s not a better life. And we’re so happy for John and Abbie. Pray the Lord just bless their life, as they start this new journey together as Abbie Duggar.”

Michelle then added:

“We are just so excited, John and Abbie. We are just really thrilled you guys are going to be near us and we’ll get to see you guys often. We are looking forward to those grandbabies coming, but some more granddaughters you never know.”

Many of their other siblings also offered their congratulations.
