Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra have just welcomed their third child into the world.
The couple, who rose to fame while starring in MTV’s “16 & Pregnant” and later “Teen Mom OG,” gave their first child, Carly, up for open adoption in 2009.
They are also parents to 4-year-old NovaLee, who lives with them. As Us Weekly reports, the parents are still active in Carly’s life.
And now, Catelynn and Tyler are excited to be parents yet again after Catelynn gave birth to another little girl on February 21.
Catelynn confirmed the news after posting “our baby has arrived” on her Instagram story. Her original due date was March 6.
According to Us Weekly, the couple’s daughter was born at 9:24 a.m. They named her Vaeda Luma.
As Catelynn and Tyler revealed in September, Vaeda Luma is the couple’s “rainbow baby” after they had suffered a miscarriage in 2017. However, learning Catelynn was pregnant was also a surprise for the couple who wasn’t trying for another child at the time.
News of Vaeda Luma’s birth comes just weeks after Tyler and Catelynn made the decision to separate for 30 days.
As Tyler explained to Us Weekly, the separation began when they decided to join couples’ therapy:
“We actually don’t even call it separation anymore. We say, ‘Let’s just do 30 days of self-reflection time. You get to focus on you, I get to focus on me. We’ll continue to do couples’ therapy.'”
The couple is currently back together.
As Dearly previously reported, Tyler and Catelynn originally announced that they were going to name their third daughter Tezlee.
Why the couple decided to change her name to Vaeda is not yet known. They also have not yet shared a photo of their newest bundle of joy.
Nonetheless, congratulations are in order for the now-family of four.
