Police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old girl, who saved the lives of her father and brother when she called 911 on her deranged mother Tuesday night.

According to ABC15, Natalie Gulizia and her father, Mike Gulizia, returned to their Washington home to find the mother and ex-wife Svetlana Laurel with a Taser.

The divorced mother-of-two allegedly used a Taser on her ex and proceeded to zip tie him.

As KIRO7 reports, court documents say Laurel “drew a pistol” and told her ex that “she was going to shoot him because he had ruined her life.”

Officials say Laurel was let into the home by the former couple’s 12-year-old son. She zip-tied him prior to the rest of the family’s arrival.

During her mother’s meltdown, Natalie ran upstairs and dialed 911 to get help.

As ABC15 reports, during the 911 call, an operator heard a woman say, “You called 911!” and “blow your head off.” She also heard the sound of zip ties, screaming and a loud bang.

The Renton Police Department released a statement saying:

During the dispute, the mother confronted the daughter, while she was on the phone with 911, and then fatally shot her. Initial indications are that there was a recent child custody issue where the mother had lost custody of her children.

As Daily Mail reports, Laurel went back to Gulizia and tried to shoot him, but he was able to escape when the gun malfunctioned.

The police report states:

The gun failed to fire, with Svetlana struggling to clear the malfunction in the pistol. Michael rammed Svetlana into the wall with his shoulder, and was able to grab the pistol. At that point, the officers arrived and ordered everyone out of the house.

As ABC15 reports, when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Natalie with a bullet wound to the head. Her brother was found tied up in another room with a sock stuffed in his mouth.

Laurel has been booked on charges of first-degree murder and was denied bail.

Rest in peace you beautiful little girl. What happened to you should never happen. You leave your daddy and brother who will always love you and be grateful for the gift of life you have them. They will also miss you every second of everyday.
I have no idea what would make a mother kill her own child. It is incomprehensible to me. May she never feel the sun on her face again. I wish hanging was still an option.

Some people do not deserve to have children. How disgusting is this woman. She was wondering why she lost custody of her children. Why? Because you are a stupid psycho who could care less about anyone but yourself. How horrible for a young girl to lose her life over this foolishness, and for a young boy to have to suffer watching his psycho mother kill his sister and attack his father. Hopefully, she will sit in prison the rest of her life and think about her deranged behavior. All for what? Nothing.

I didn’t know you where going to pass… I’m sure your brother and Father miss you… I don’t know how it must’ve felt to have Nicky watch you be shot. (Nicky is her brother you probably don’t know that, but I do because they went to my summer camp for many years.) But if must have been difficult. I still have that mini movie the whole camp made where she was the mother and teacher, and her brother was the son. Rest In Peace. You are a ray of sunshine whom I will never forget.
