Tyler urged his fans to not worry. His statement read, in part:
I am not in a life threatening condition, but I need to deal with this right away, and get some rest and medical care immediately in order to sustain and maintain my future performances….unfortunately, health does not wait and it’s something even I can’t schedule.
Now, the Daily Mail has shed more light on his medical condition, and family members have said they’re “very concerned” for the 69-year-old’s health.
A source close to the band told The Boston Globe the “Walk This Way” singer suffered a seizure after his show in Brazil on Monday.
Tyler’s girlfriend, Aimee Preston, shared a photo of the two Wednesday with a simple caption of prayer hands and a heart. Many of the comments shared well wishes for the storied singer and his girlfriend:
Tyler’s had a storied past with drug abuse, though the cause of the seizure has yet to be released.
