The celebrity mom spoke about “the aftermath of birth” and said that no one ever told her about severe cramping she would eventually endure following the birth of her third child, Angelo.

Snooki wrote in one post:

You definitely need these guys. Hazel pads for your butthole. Here’s my underwears, my pads, my squirt bottle. Pray for me.

She added:

My feet are swollen, I’m wearing a diaper, my son just peed and s**t on me twice and my sciatica is acting up.

Sciatica refers to pain stemming from problems with the sciatic nerve. The condition causes sharp pain from the lower back,  through the buttocks, and all the way down to your legs, even your toes.

The 31-year-old continued to open up about the fourth-trimester experience. She wrote alongside a picture she took while still in her hospital bed:

Hello postpartum.

No one warned me about the third pregnant postpartum cramping. Like, am I still in active labor? S**!

As previously reported by Dearly, the reality star has suffered from intense cramping most of her pregnancy and said she spent weeks feeling “miserable.”

According to the Baby Center, afterpains, also known as postpartum cramping, is a common symptom felt after giving birth and can continue for about six weeks or longer. First-time mothers may experience less cramping or none at all. The center explained:

They can be quite uncomfortable after a second delivery and usually get worse with each successive delivery. That’s because first-time mothers tend to have better uterine muscle tone, which means the uterus can contract and stay contracted, rather than relaxing and contracting intermittently.

Nonetheless, hopefully, Snooki will be able to ease her discomfort soon and find the rest she needs to enjoy her newborn.
