Aspyn Brown, 22, who stars on the TLC show “Sister Wives,” is now engaged to Mitch Thompson, a longtime friend of the family.

Aspyn is the third daughter of Christine and Cody Brown to be getting married. Her sisters, Maddie and Mykelti, both got married in 2016.

Aspyn told People that she met Thompson at a party at her parents’ house.

She said:

“We were raised in the same church group, and I had a little crush on him.”

Aspyn explained that she was the one who made the first move:

“We went different directions until a rally some of my family attended in Utah, where we both happened to be. My dad’s brother asked what ever happened between us, which was nothing, because neither of us did anything about it. So I decided to call him.”

People reports that Thompson proposed to Aspyn while they went on a vacation together in Seattle to visit his mother.

Aspyn described the magical moment she got engaged:

“We got dressed up and took a walk to the waterfront before dinner, where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so happy, I said yes immediately and pulled him up to kiss me before he could even put on the ring.”

The couple hasn’t picked out a wedding date yet, although Aspyn told People she would like to incorporate a Scottish theme into the festivities.
