Simone Biles has been very busy since winning five gold medals at her debut Olympic performance in Rio.
The 20-year-old, who scored the coveted women’s gymnastics gold medal for best individual all-round performance in 2016, is currently taking a year off from training.
But that doesn’t mean she’s stepped out of the spotlight.
Biles has since graced the pages of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition and even competed on the hit reality series “Dancing With the Stars.” So it makes sense that the Olympian recently took some time off.
Based on her social media accounts, it seems the star has spent the past several weeks traveling around the world with her friends and family on some much-needed vacation time.
Since leaving “Dancing With the Stars,” Biles has posted tons of photos in sun-drenched locations from Belize to Hawaii.
And she appears to be having a blast during her time off.
But apparently not all fans are happy for the star athlete. In fact, Biles said that some comments have left her “shook.” But she’s not standing down.
The Olympic gold medalist took to Twitter to call out one particularly nasty comment that a “fan” left on one of her recent vacation photos on Instagram. The comment read:
“Seems like you have partied non-stop for a year. #trash #unfollow #SuckyA**Rolemodel”
Biles responded to the comment, then posted a screenshot to Twitter — and it was brutal. The Olympian wrote:
“Talk to me when you train for 14 years and earn five Olympic medals. I think kids would say otherwise. My year off is well deserved! Take a couple seats.”
Biles posted the exchange to Twitter, even though she didn’t want to give the woman “attention.” She said that she has since blocked the Instagram user:
Comments like this have me shook. I really wanted to blur her name out so she doesn't get attention. but it is what it is… ✌? #BLOCK pic.twitter.com/T4UA2DuLg2

And it doesn’t seem like the athlete is letting the haters keep her down.
She’s continued to post fun beach photos for all her fans since shutting down the Instagram user. But her fun-filled time off can only last for so long.
Biles has confirmed that she will once again compete on the women’s gymnastics team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
