Actor Ryan Reynolds made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show Tuesday and discussed the ups and downs of parenting.

According to HuffPost, the “Dead Pool” star has two daughters, James and Inez, with his wife Blake Lively, whom he married in 2012.

He shared a lighthearted conversation with talk show host Ellen about his thoughts on being a parent.

Reynolds said:

“I love it. It’s really kind of made me a better person I think. I sort of miss being horrible.”

After discussing his 4-year-old’s behavior on their plane ride from the Middle East, Ellen questioned the actor about the age of his youngest daughter.

Reynolds jokingly responded:

“That happened from sex…She just turned 2.”

He noted that parenting is “hard” and joked that he uses his blinks as “breaks” throughout the day, but overall described it as a “dream” that he loves.

One fan tweeted on how relatable Reynolds statement was.

She wrote:

Whenever Ryan Reynolds said “I think blinking now is like tiny little breaks all day”.. I felt that

He went on to discuss his upcoming movies, such as “Once Upon A Deadpool,” which will be family friendly holiday version of his hit film. He explained that a portion of the proceeds for the film would be going to “Fudge Cancer.”

Reynolds expressed the need for content parents can watch with their children. He supported his idea by emphasizing the number of times he’s watched “Frozen” with his daughters.

Reynolds joked:

“A lot of parents don’t know this –– If you play ‘Frozen’ backward, it’s actually a shot-for-shot remake of ‘The Exorcist.’ That would obviously enrage a lot of parents.”

During the interview, Reynolds described his daughters as his “little buddies.”

The actor’s comments had one fan asking to join his family.

One viewer tweeted:

Watching this @TheEllenShow and I just really want @VancityReynolds to be my dad! I’m 23 but adopt me please?

Reynolds’ latest film “Once Upon a Deadpool” hits theaters on December 12.
