“Big Little Lies” actress Reese Witherspoon is turning heads with her recent Vogue photoshoot.

The 42-year-old mother of three posed alongside her mother, Betty, and 19-year-old daughter, Ava Phillipe, in a photo by photographer Zoe Ghertner.

And fans couldn’t help but notice the three generations of women all have an uncanny resemblance.

Many fans on Facebook called the women “triplets,” and said the family must have strong genes. One user wrote:

They are simply amazing women. It comes with natural class and it’s hard to tell them apart. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Another said:

Whoa, they all look identical.

But their appearance isn’t all that’s similar. Witherspoon apparently takes after her mother’s personality too.

The actress told Vogue that she was inspired by her mother growing up. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse, sometimes caring for 17 babies at once, Witherspoon said:

“And the crying of the babies! The noise! She said she didn’t even hear it. I remember being so in awe of my mom. She always had a positive attitude, always laughing, always telling a joke, and she always had a billion friends at work. She just loved the women she worked with.”

She gave birth to her own daughter, Ava, with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe when she was just 23. It was a year before her infamous role in “Legally Blonde.”

However, just like her mother, things came easily to Witherspoon. Her friend, actress Meryl Streep, told Vogue:

“I know what it’s like to be in this business and also raise kids. You remember that book ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It?’ That’s Reese!”

Witherspoon also has a 15-year-old son, Deacon, with Phillippe and a 6-year-old son, Tennessee, with husband Jim Toth.
