UPDATE [10/16/18, 8:30 p.m. EST]:
Local News 10 reports that after this video was made public, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald has deemed the tip “not credible.” The search for Jayme Closs continues.

Wisconsin teen Jayme Closs vanished in the early morning hours of Monday after local police received a call from her Barron County home.

As Dearly previously reported, police responded to the call and found the 13-year-old’s parents, 56-year-old James Closs and 46-year-old Denise Closs, dead in the residence.

The couple had suffered gunshot wounds, but police didn’t confirm their manner of death.

Jayme was nowhere to be seen when authorities arrived, and police could not confirm the teen called them for help. The Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said:

“We could hear yelling in the background on this 911 call, not much information.”

The 13-year-old has since been declared missing and in “serious danger,” Dearly reported. Authorities believe she may have traveled to Florida.

Now, police have released security footage, that they think may show the teen, in hopes that someone may recognize the two men she was with, according to ABC 10.

In the footage, a child, who may be Jayme, can be seen inside a black Ford Explorer at a Miami gas station with two men in their 30s.

A witness said the men appeared to be 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 and had beards. The car had a Wisconsin license plate with the number I60 WER.

Fitzgerald said it’s important for anyone who sees anything suspicious to report it, according to ABC 7. He said:

“Every second counts in this case. When a child like Jayme is missing we ask you to observe this behavior and report it to us.”

Jayme is described as being 5-feet in height, with strawberry-blond hair. She weighs roughly 100 pounds.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Barron County Sheriff’s Department at 715-537-3106 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipline at 855-744-3879.
