Singer Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, seem like the perfect team raising their two little ones, Willow, 7, and Jameson, 1.

And the parents, who recently had to flee their Malibu home due to wildfires, aren’t shy about sharing the real-life challenges of their raising kids.

So when mom went out of town this week, Hart opened up about how he spent his time with their little ones.

On Wednesday, the father wrote that he was taking his kids out to dinner while “mama works.”

Only, like many parents caring for kids alone, he was a little “too tired” to cook. So he grabbed the kids and went out for some bar food.

Hart wrote:

Dinner w/ these two knuckle heads while mama works. #IWasToTiredToCook#BarFoodForTheWin

Many of Hart’s followers on Instagram couldn’t help but relate to the tired dad and said they couldn’t “blame him.”

One commenter wrote:

As the parent who sometimes let their kids go to bed fully clothed for the next day cuz they had to get up really early to be dropped off at grandma’s before school…I’m happy to see parenting things have evolved! Besides who doesn’t love bar food??? #winningatparentingftw

I remember going with my dad to a place called shoes (hole in the wall bar). We ordered Shirley temples playes darts (4 yr old style) and eat pretzels. I loved it. Never underestimate the memories you make by just being present.

Others tried to determine if Willow was eating an ice cream cone or sushi.

Regardless, fans seemed to think the dad was doing his best — even if his choice of restaurant was a bit out of the box.

What do you think of Hart giving his children bar food? Let us know in the comments.

I think if it had high chairs it’s not a BAR. Taverns and pubs and BARS have a sign on the door that prohibits minors from being on the premises. ?
Clubs, pool halls, and restaurants that serve alcohol are different than the bar.
