Fans who have watched Pink’s children grow up may be disappointed by recent news she shared with comedian Ellen DeGeneres on Monday’s show.

The “Just Give Me a Reason” singer, 39, told the audience that fans will no longer get a glimpse into her kids’ lives through intimate photos because she won’t post pictures of her daughter Willow Sage, 7, and son Jameson Moon, 2, on social media anymore.

As reported by People, the mother of two, who is often known for her hard exterior, teared up after she was criticized for sharing a picture of her son with a bare bottom on Instagram.

Pink said she was forced to take down the naked photo because of “keyboard warriors,” reported Dearly.

Following the incident, the celeb mom told DeGeneres that she has had enough mom-shaming, and because of “rude, just mean… mean-spirited” people the pop star won’t share photos of her kids online for now. She explained:

“People went as far as saying someone should call child services because he didn’t have a diaper on and how dare I … some of the nastiest things.”

Pink recalled to the talk-show host:

“I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family. It’s my proudest moment. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve done in my whole life.”

The star acknowledged that there’s a time for constructive parenting criticism by saying:

“I understand people saying, ‘You need to be more careful because you are in the public eye and you should of thought of that.’ And they’re right. But there’s a nicer way to say that.”

She added:

“There’s a kind way to be online. And I’m open to kindness.”

However, there’s a way to engage with people online without being rude.

Following the backlash, Pink explained her side of the photo to fans. She said:

“I looked at it like, there was a pelican that flew into our room. It spent two hours with us … it was this incredible experience for my family.

And I have a 2-year-old [who] doesn’t like to wear wet swim diapers and at some point, he took it off. I don’t think like that! We’re a family. We live on a farm. My kids are naked, it’s what happens!”

The star was surprised she received a slew of negative comments about her parenting abilities following the post — despite the fact she edited out Jameson’s private parts.

Anyone who has a 2 year old boy knows that almost half the time they take their diaper off. Boys will be boys. My son who is 2 and my daughter who is 3 are almost always trying to strip down. Toddlers like to be naked sometimes, they are kids. If anyone has a problem with that they should mind their own business. He’s a little boy it shouldn’t matter weather or not he’s wearing a diaper, he was enjoying the time he spent with his family. People are ridiculous.

People are horrible. Do they not take pictures of their own kids? Seriously?

My nephew is 2 and loves to take his pants off. I’m so sorry that other people decide it is appropriate to tell others how to parent and judge other parents. Your children are beautiful and I wish your family nothing but peace and blessings!
