It’s been a big week for Pink!

The “Beautiful Trauma” singer, who is currently nominated for a Grammy, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week after more than two decades in the music industry.

Pink headed to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to discuss the honor and revealed her daughter, 7-year-old Willow Hart, gave her a very special message before the star-unveiling ceremony.

According to People, the 39-year-old mother of two told DeGeneres that her husband and daughter gave her plenty of support beforehand:

“[Carey] brought in flowers yesterday and Willow wrote me a note that said, ‘Mama, this is a big deal. And I’m glad it’s you and not Justin Beaver.'”

The singer said her daughter’s sweet message got her thinking. She told the host:

“I was like, that is so random — how does she even know … I don’t know, It was cute. I was like, ‘This must be a big deal.'”

DeGeneres joked that Pink’s 7-year-old must be the only young girl not to know Justin Bieber’s name. She told Pink:

“She’s, like, the only little girl who doesn’t know how to pronounce his name.”

The talk show host attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony alongside the pop songstress earlier that day and gushed about Pink’s parenting skills.

DeGeneres told the crowd:

“One of my favorite things about Pink is what a great mother she is to her two children. She’s not just raising her daughter, Willow, she’s setting an example for her daughter on how to live in this world as a strong, independent woman who respects herself and others. She’s teaching Jameson that he can just wipe his nose with his finger and then put it on the carpet right there. […] You can’t just wipe your son’s nose and then put it on the carpet.”

As Dearly reported, Pink said her family was to thank for her success during the ceremony.

The mom said in her speech:

“My husband — he’s so cute. He’s my muse and if he didn’t piss me off all the time I’d have not much to say. I wouldn’t be standing up here if it wasn’t for you. Never change

My children — you guys are my stars and I would never shine without you.”

It seems that no matter where Pink’s career takes her, her family will always be a top priority.
