Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she and her husband Brad Falchuk have a rather unorthodox living arrangement.

The “Avengers: Endgame” actress, 46, shared that she and the “American Horror Story” producer, 48,  only live together four nights each week, People reports.

After those four nights are over, Falchuk returns to his own home. While it may seem strange for a couple who had just married in September to operate this way, Paltrow says all of their friends admire it.

She said:

“Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal and we shouldn’t change a thing.”

Furthermore, Paltrow said her intimacy coach told her that it gave their marriage “polarity.”

However, this isn’t the first time the Goop mogul has taken an unconventional approach to family life.

For example, after she and Falchuk’s wedding ceremony in the Hamptons, the two enjoyed their honeymoon at the Maldives with their respective children and Paltrow’s ex-husband Chris Martin.

Paltrow said:

“Chris is family and Brad and he, they’re like, totally friends.”

Dearly reported that during an interview for ES Magazine,  she previously shared that it was important for her to keep her family together for her children.

She said:

“It doesn’t have to be the end of your relationship with somebody. I think Chris and I were meant to be together and have our kids. But our relationship is much better like this: friends and co-parents and family.”

Furthermore, the mother of two has also embraced Martin’s girlfriend Dakota Johnson. For example, People reports that Paltrow invites Johnson to join their family vacations.

The actress said:

“I adore her. [She’s] a fantastic woman.”

People reports that Paltrow loves spending time with everyone she considers family and that includes Dakota.
