A 100-year-old husband was struggling to help his disabled 101-year-old wife into the car at a gas station when three men took notice.
The men, identified as Joc Koe Stoe, Freddy G, and Marty, told Fox 5 that they knew they had to step in and help.
Stoe told the outlet:
“We seen an old couple having a hard time so we just assisted them.”
The three men worked together to help the couple into their car and were thanked in return.
Sheriff’s Deputy Kanesha Carnegie was at the gas station and noticed the three men’s good deed, so she pulled out her cell phone camera.
She told Inside Edition:
“I thought at the time they looked really beautiful and that was a nice view to see. I stepped back and just videoed them.”
Carnegie said she knew the men from the community and that they took part in the local rap scene. She said they don’t have “the greatest history,” but added:
“And that’s the beauty of it.”
The touching video has now garnered millions of views on social media and earned the men praise online. One Facebook comment read:
This.. this right here is what we as a society are all about! We need more of this. Thank you to these gentlemen for doing the right thing. Just awesome!
Stoe said it was just “instinct” the elderly couple.
