On Tuesday, September 12, an unknown woman attempted to break into the south London school that Prince George attends.

According to The Sun, when the staff at the Thomas’s in Battersea school asked the woman who she was, she fled the scene. A source close to the school revealed that the staff notified the police and increased security.

The woman then returned for a second time the following day.

Once the police arrived, the woman, said to be in her 40s, was arrested. A witness who saw the arrest told the Daily Mail that she seemed “completely unfazed” when being put into handcuffs:

“She was just sitting there really quietly with two men in ordinary clothes either side of her. She was completely calm and passive.”

As a source told The Sun, the incident is being “treated as a stalking situation” and that “the woman’s background is being fully investigated.”

The good news is that Prince George wasn’t at the school during the times his alleged stalker showed up:

“… he only stays for a half-day, as do all children his age.”

After alerting Prince William and Kate to the situation, George’s parents made the decision to allow him to continue attending the school as he would regularly. A royal insider revealed:

“Prince George did attend school yesterday as normal and will continue to attend today.”

While opening a new Urgent Care and Trauma Centre at Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool on Thursday following the stalking incident, Prince William spoke with some of the hospital’s patients.

During a conversation with a man named Pagan Tordengrav, William told the patient that Kate was doing “very well.” He then added:

“And George is at school. It’s been a very interesting week.”

According to The Sun, “royal security matters are normally kept top-secret, but the unusual decision was made to release details of the arrest.”

George is William and Kate’s first child to attend school. They are also the parents of 2-year-old Princess Charlotte and recently announced that they have a third child on the way.
