During her acceptance speech for “Best Actress in a Limited Series” at the Golden Globes, Nicole Kidman thanked her cast, crew, husband Keith Urban, and her children, specifically her and Urban’s two daughters, Sunny and Faith.

Now grown, Connor and Isabella Cruise have lives of their own. But that hasn’t stopped others from wondering why Kidman isn’t as close with her adopted children as she is with the two biological daughters she has with Urban.
As the Fix reported, many blame Scientology for the seemingly rocky relationship between Kidman and her two oldest children.
Some say because she and Cruise divorced and because Kidman is not a member of the Church of Scientology, that she has been dubbed a “suppressive person” and Connor and Isabella have been turned against her.

After winning “Best Actress in a Limited Series,” in a repeat of the Globes, Kidman thanked two extra people while on stage:
“I want to thank all of my children who show me so much love. […] I love being an actor. Thank you for letting me do it all the way through to this age and beyond. It really is an incredible honor to be able to do it.”
Some fans took to Twitter to voice their surprise at Kidman saying “all of my children”:

Nicole Kidman thanked all of her children even tho her older children refuse to have a relationship with her because of scientology. Maybe people and media would leave her alone now pic.twitter.com/YiBtjImbnD

@LaineyGossip Notice hoe Nicole Kidman thanked "all of her children" tonight and not just the 2 youngest. Prob bcuz almost everything printed about her from Golden Globes pointed out the omission of the 2 oldest in her speech.
