In 2014, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter married actress Lauren Kitt.
Two years later, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Odin Reign.
That same year, Carter released the song he wrote for his wife called “I Will Wait.”
Some of the lyrics read:
I promise darling that I won’t sleep
Until we reached the highest mountain peak
Thanks for the times that you were there for me
So let me payback all your charitySo, I will wait for you
This love was made for two
And I’ll hold on this time
No, I won’t leave you behind
On September 10, Carter revealed that Lauren had been expecting baby number two when they suffered a miscarriage at 16 weeks along.
God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. ?. I’m heart broken.

Lauren underwent a procedure on September 11.
Carter asked for “prayers and peace” during the difficult time:
So I was wrong it was 16 weeks along. ? we had the procedure yesterday. Please pray for us to have peace and healing during this time. Thank you for all your love and support through everything. We love you.
