A Georgia mom said her son has a big personality that he just cannot hide, but she couldn’t believe the boy’s elementary school let him take an over-the-top photo on school picture day.
Stronajai Miles was rummaging through her son’s backpack when she got a big surprise once she found Andrew Miles’ school photo package. Stronajai told Inside Edition:
“It was a regular Sunday night and I was going through his book bag making sure I didn’t have to sign anything for the next week. I was totally not expecting to see the pictures. I said, ‘OMG. They let him take his pictures like this!’”
Instead of saying “cheese,” her kindergartner looked as if he was stuck in the middle of an open-mouthed scream. And at first, Stronajai was angry until she posted the photo online.

Stronajai contacted Lifetouch School Photography to find out what the heck happened that day — she believed the photographers had seriously dropped the ball.
Andrew’s mom asked her son if anyone told him to make the funny face, reports WMAZ. He told her:
“‘No, I just made it.'”
The mom explained:
“When we were kids, you could not mess those pictures up. Those pictures were so important, but times have changed. I have to get out of the ’90s and get with everyone else.”
It wasn’t until Andrew’s relatives and people on Facebook told her they couldn’t stop laughing when she realized he was making people around the world smile, so the pictures turned out fine.

I keep laughing. If this was my son would keep them and cherish his stand out personality […] In my eyes your pics at least make you smile. He is adorable. Keep the pics.

This young man is going to definitely be a leader NOT a follower! I understand as a mom you wanted the perfectly poised pic but just remind him next year as his Mom one of the BEST gifts he can give you is a photo holding back his desire n posing how Mom wants…wish I could get one for my wallet I LOVE THE PIC!
WMAZ reached out to Lifetouch, the company said their policy is to let students pose themselves.
The pictures weren’t prepaid but Andrew’s mother decided to keep the funny photos as a memento.
