Jazmyne Futrell is a mom of four who runs a blog called, “Mixed Mom Brown Babies.”

The mom is somewhat new to blogging. She told Yahoo! that she started her website and Facebook page after struggling with postpartum depression following the birth of her youngest child:

“I had postpartum depression and all the other mums looked amazing on social media. Many times I thought, ‘Can I do this?’ I hope showing photos like this lets mothers know they’re not fighting their battles alone.”

And recently, the 31-year-old shared a photo that highlights a mom’s uncanny ability to multitask.

The picture shows two of Futrell’s four children playing together on the kitchen floor, while she’s cooking chicken noodle soup, breastfeeding her youngest child and helping her fourth with his homework.

In an interview with Yahoo!, Futrell said her husband was the one to snap the candid photo. And even though there is a lot wrong with the picture, she wanted to share it anyway:

“There’s so much to say about this photo. I shouldn’t be cooking while holding my baby, my son has a ponytail because I didn’t have time to braid his hair, and my kids are on the floor. That’s why I posted it — there’s not enough realness on social media.”

And a lot of other parents related to the busy mom’s photo.

Some even shared their own experiences:

I have 4 kids too and I’m lucky if I’m in bed by 10pm to be up at 5!

I want to want to have a nightlife. But I don’t want a night life because that costs money and my kids still wake up in the night

My 7 devine children…its definitely tough, but i love it its all controlled chaos

I only have 2 and I would love to go to bed at a decent time but once they are in bed its time to get house work done. I’m lucky to be in bed by 1am.

This picture is amazing! It is motherhood and you are beautiful!

It’s like Futrell said, “There is not enough realness on social media.” So here is to all the parents who aren’t afraid of owning their “controlled chaos.”

Sounds like you were a wonderful mother to your kids and they must love and cherish you like no other. This world is running out of woman that understands being a mother is a great privilege and is to be cherished. I was lucky and was raised by a wonderful mother who loved and cherished me very much.
