On Tuesday, a video taken of a Pennsylvania toddler being teased about her weight by a grown woman at daycare started circulating on social media.

The child’s aunt, Jennifer Ortiz, said she was sent the video that day, according to WTXF.

The clip showed her 2-year-old niece, Auburey, at Amazing Kidz Academy LLC in North Philadelphia.

She appeared to be standing quietly while a mother, whose son attends the care center, commented on her appearance. She told the toddler:

“If you don’t get out of my face, with your big a**, what they need to do is stop feeding you.”

Ortiz, who said she was speaking out on behalf of the child’s mother, told the news outlet that she was horrified by the video:

“It’s just, it’s horrible, how could you speak to someone’s kids like that? It’s very shocking, and in front of other kids it hurt, it hurt a lot.”

Now, the woman who filmed the little girl is apologizing.

In a tearful interview with ABC6, the mother admitted that she was wrong to criticize the little girl.

She claimed that she meant to send the video in a private message to another mom at the daycare, but accidentally posted it publicly. The mother, who didn’t wish to be identified, said:

“It was nothing to hurt anyone or like anything bad towards the little girl. I really would like to apologize to her mother more because I am a mother, at the end of the day, and I couldn’t imagine anyone doing this to my son.”

The woman said that she was 22 and often makes “dumb mistakes,” but regrets what she did this time.

She said that her son likely won’t be able to attend the daycare now that she’s angered the community.

Amazing Kidz Academy LLC called the video “mean and senseless” and assured that none of the staff were involved.

She’s only upset because she got caught. Had she not been exposed she would have forgotten all about it.

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self improvement by hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation. Lets not forget their unique ability to defuse any type of confrontation while lowering hyperbolic confabulation.

That mother is only remorseful now after social media reacted negatively to her post. Too bad for her as you don’t make comments like that on social media. She has no excuse and will have to deal with the consequences of her action.

How terrible. What kind of person is she? One that should not have custody of her own child)ren. If she would say that to someone else’s child, what is she saying to her own? That was malicious and cruel. Don’t believe her “apology” on iota either.

I’m a white man but if I kicked this p.o.s’s teeth down her throat I’d be an evil racist. Even though I don’t care what color she is I just care she’s a pos wasting good air,but she would be the victim.I pray she’s not a mother,a animal has more sense and compassion than this.

Nobody’s perfect. We’ve all done some dumb ass sh** we regret. At least it gives her a chance to look at herself and perhaps change her ways.

This is disgusting!! I don’t care how old she is or what color she is, she is a disgusting human being foe talking to a child this way. And why would she even video what she said? She’s only apologizing because she got caught

This is a form of bullying and I’m glad someone brought this to her attention. Yes 22 year old do make mistakes 30 ,40,50,60 year old also but this the time to use your head this only a baby. I just hope you are sorry for what was done and there’s no excuse for this.Your raising a child and they learn from you so use common sense. Everyone has feelings a this is only a baby.
