A 6-year-old Missouri boy is back home with his father after being reported missing in August.
As Fox 13 reports, Braedence Jones was not returned to his father, Ryan Jones, on August 3 after visiting with his mother, Aubrey Ferguson. The two parents share custody of their son, but he lives with his father.
In October, the Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an endangered person advisory for Braedence. They believed he was with Ferguson and her boyfriend.

Further, Woodrow Ziegler, Ferguson’s boyfriend, is a felon and was court-ordered not to be around Braedence.
After the advisory, Ferguson, who was wanted for felony child abduction, went on the run.
Sightings of Ferguson and Ziegler were reported in the city of Stoutland and Laclede County.
After Investigators received a tip from United States Marshals Service Midwest Violent Fugitive Task Force, they discovered Braedence in his mother’s southwest Missouri home.
As Fox 13 reports, authorities said:
“Ferguson and her boyfriend were hiding the child in an attic crawl space that had been nailed shut and concealed. Ferguson was with the child in the crawl space when discovered.”
As Daily Mail reports, the entrance of the crawl space was nailed shut with a piece of carpet and had furniture pushed against it.

Officers arrested the couple after the discovery on Tuesday.
As Fox 13 reports, the mother is being held on a warrant for child abduction out of Camden County and a capias warrant out of Crawford County.
Soon after Ryan Jones and his son reunited, his girlfriend, Breanne Dominguez, shared a photo of the two.
She wrote:
OUR LITTLE BOY IS HOME. GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!!!!? Thank you all for the prayers, shared, phone calls and etc. we don’t know how to thank everyone enough. Our hearts are so full of joy atm. Just thank you everyone…
Dominguez also shared a post thanking the officers involved with the case on behalf of Jones and herself.
What kind of a parent would hide a child in the attic with the door nailed shut?!
