In December 2016, Amy Roloff revealed that her and Matt’s only daughter, Molly Jo, accepted a marriage proposal from the man of her dreams, whom she met in college years earlier.

Molly and Joel Silvius both attended Whitworth University from 2012 to 2016. It’s unknown when exactly the pair started dating.

According to Amy, the pair continued living in Washington state after graduating and plan to stay in that area as they begin their lives together as husband and wife.

On August 5, Molly officially became a Silvius, and the entire Roloff clan couldn’t have been happier for her. Especially her father:

Well … we gave away our Amazing Molly jo …the most gorgeous bride ever! To her New husband Joel today. Molly is the apple of her mother and MY eyes …Amy and I are gushing with pride of her character, faith, heart for God, wisdom and judgment… especially her choice in picking her life mate. molly lives her life straight ahead (we daddy daughtered danced that song from Amy Grant tonight). Her guest strolled through a stunning wildflower patch that had been rolled down a path in the minutes before the ceremony so the guest could make the walk as if they were floating on a rainbow of Colors As they walked to the ceremony area… set deep in a grove under several 100 yr old oak trees that molly played on as a little girl. The guest sat on custom made rustic bences specifically designed and build on roloff farm to match the intimate setting… molly and I were able to spend 20 minutes of quality time visiting and sharing our love as father and daughter As we pulled up to the ceremony in one of our special roloff farm all terrain rigs. I then escorted my dear molly down a rustic wood chip path to hand her off to Joel. Waiting patiently to take her hand in marriage. After several biblical scriptures were read they exchanged private vows and commitments to each other. They kissed and we all erupted in celebration and joy. It was an amazing wedding day that went off without a single hitch. It was a magical ferry-tail wedding for 2 incredible people that we all love very much.

Matt took to Instagram to gush about his only daughter, calling her “the most gorgeous bride ever”:

Molly is the apple of her mother and MY eyes. Amy and I are gushing with pride of her character, faith, heart for God, wisdom and judgment, especially her choice in picking her life mate.

According to Instagram, as Matt sat on a raised stool, he and Molly performed their father-daughter dance to Amy Grant’s “Straight Ahead,” which Matt said was “representative of the focus Molly has in her life and her choices.”

Matt Roloff has a form of dwarfism called diastrophic dwarfism. Diastrophic dysplasia is a disorder of cartilage and bone that has left him with neck, hip, leg, and knee problems, making it difficult for him to walk without assistance.

The proud father of four also described the special day:

Her guest strolled through a stunning wildflower patch that had been rolled down in the minutes before the ceremony, so the guest could make the walk as if they were floating on a rainbow of colors set deep in a grove under several 100 year old oak trees that molly played on as a little girl. The guest sat on custom made rustic benches specifically designed and built on the Roloff farm to match the intimate setting.

Molly and I were able to spend 20 minutes of quality time visiting and sharing our love as father and daughter as we pulled up to the ceremony in one of our special Roloff farm all terrain rigs. I then escorted my dear Molly down a rustic wood chip path to hand her off to Joel, waiting patiently to take her hand in marriage.

After several biblical scriptures were read, they exchanged private vows and commitments to each other. They kissed and we all erupted in celebration and joy. It was an amazing wedding day that went off without a single hitch. It was a magical fairytale wedding for two incredible people that we all love very much.

Throughout the big day, Molly’s three brothers, Jeremy, Zach, and Jacob, as well as her two sister-in-laws, Audrey and Tori, gushed about the bride and groom.

Each sibling shared a special photo of their sister, wishing her and Joel the best as they begin their journey together.

Zach’s wife, Tori, who also acted as Molly’s maid of honor, took to Instagram to welcome Joel to the family and to rave about the emotional day:

Tori wrote:

My seestor is married and I am pretty excited about it. Joel, we love you so much! Welcome to the madness!

She continued in another post:

I love Jo so much and I am so happy for her. She is the sister I never had and to watch her be so unbelievably happy has made my heart swell with happiness.

Jeremy followed suit, sharing a gorgeous photo of Molly and Joel strolling hand in hand and officially introducing his little sister as Molly Jo Silvius:

While it’s not often that fans of TLC’s “Little People, Big World” get to hear from Molly — she prefers to live her life outside of the spotlight — she and her beau did tell People that they felt incredibly “blessed to have been able to celebrate [their] marriage surrounded by so many people [they] love.”

Congratulations, Molly and Joel!
