Miranda Lambert has kept relatively quiet about her heartbreak following her divorce from fellow country star, Blake Shelton.
The two called it quits in July 2015 after four years of marriage — and just four months later, Shelton revealed he was dating his “The Voice” co-star Gwen Stefani.

The country songstress said that she “started drinking a little extra” to numb the pain, which later became the inspiration for her song, “Ugly Lights.”
But it wasn’t long before she found love once again.
Lambert started dating fellow musician Anderson East just months later. And the couple has been going strong ever since.
She recently gushed about her beau in a sweet birthday post:

Now that the 33-year-old’s new love has helped her heal from her messy divorce, Lambert is opening up about writing her last album, “The Weight of These Wings,” while her breakup was splashed across the news.
She told People:
“I walked in with guns blazing. I just knew one thing: I didn’t want a breakup record. I was like, ‘Let’s feel it all.’ I was ready to have the days where I can’t even stand up and the days where I’m celebrating.”

Lambert said she didn’t do much promotion for the album during its 2016 release because she thought it should speak for itself. And her songs had a lot to say about Shelton…

“I just didn’t need to talk about the record. If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it’s all on there. There’s no mystery anymore — take from it what you will.”
Still, she said that her divorce took away some of her fighting spirit and even changed her outlook on life. Lambert told People:
“I’m more known for my fiery personality and my confidence, but that’s not me all the time.
I won’t look at things ever again in the same light, because different things in your life bring you to a deeper level with yourself. I won’t take pain for granted anymore.”
The songstress said she now makes sure that she takes time for herself, and often spends time with her boyfriend out on her 400-acre Tennessee farm:
“I go to my farm, and I don’t wear makeup for a week or wash my hair. I put it in a bandanna and wear cutoffs and play with my dogs.”
Lambert’s ex-husband is still currently dating pop singer Gwen Stefani — and he seems to be in the past for Lambert.
Her album detailing their relationship went platinum and won the Academy of Country Music Award for Album of the Year. She’s now shifted her focus to music and her loving boyfriend.
