Miranda Lambert’s personal life has proven to be one heck of a ride the last few years.

First, there was her heartbreaking divorce from fellow country star Blake Shelton in July 2015. Then, just four months later, it was announced that Shelton was in a new relationship with “The Voice” co-host Gwen Stefani.

The split, let alone the new relationship, was brutal for Lambert. In January, she told a Chicago audience that to make it through the heartache, she turned to alcohol, saying:

“I got divorced so I started drinking a little extra. I found myself in Midtown in Nashville three nights in a row at last call and with the lights coming on, and I’d be sitting there.”

But Lambert didn’t stay down for long. One month after Shelton and Stefani were linked, it was announced that she, too, had a new significant other, Anderson East.

Thankfully for adoring fans, it wasn’t long before the duo made their red carpet debut at the 2016 ACM Awards.

The pair soon became inseparable.

They continued to kill on red carpets together:

They performed together:

And spent holidays together:

But two months ago, the pair reportedly split.

A source told OK Magazine that they were just on different pages — Lambert wanted to settle down, while East just wasn’t there yet:

“He told her he wants to take a break. […]

She really felt they were meant to be together. And they still may be — Anderson is only cooling things off. But that doesn’t take away the sting for Miranda.”

The source continued, saying East just couldn’t continue down such a serious path:

“He knew it was going to hurt her but he also knows they’re both just not ready for this. He’s not counting out them getting back together or even marrying someday. He just couldn’t see them marrying now.”

But weeks later, Lambert silenced those rumors with yet another sizzling red carpet appearance:

And on Monday, the country singer decided to profess her love for her man a little more publicly:

In a sweet birthday post, Lambert gushed about East, writing:

“Rock & Roll Sundays and No Makeup Mondays. My favorite Bama boy turned 30 today. He owns the stage and he owns my heart. […] Thanks @andersoneast for inspiring me in so many ways. You are a light that could outshine the sun. I love making memories with you.”

And East couldn’t help but gush back:

His caption read, in part:

“Thanks to everyone for all the love on my birthday. I can’t believe that I get the privilege to live the life that I get to live. I have the love of an amazing & kind woman…”

Clearly, these two aren’t saying goodbye anytime soon, no matter how many rumors say otherwise.
