Chrissy Teigen’s youngest child is reaching a big milestone.

On July 23, the model and mom of two took to Twitter to share a video of her 1-year-old son Miles. The video showed the adorable little boy taking his “first real steps” or so the mom thought.

Teigen wrote:

I think I just caught his first real steps! Does this count?

In the video that’s been watched over 1.7 million times, Miles is seen playing with a toy car as he takes his first real step towards his mom. Teigen is heard getting excited for Miles, telling her son “good job, you took a step. Good job,” adding “Who loves cars more than Miles?”

Thousands of people liked the video and even more debated on whether or not Teigen caught a step or a stumble on camera.

Many thought the step “totally counts”:

YES!!!! IT TOTALLY COUNTS! GO MILES, GO!

Yup it does. He’s so handsome. What a cutie.

Yes it sure does. And holy moly you make beautiful babies.

OMG. So cute! Yes, it counts. And he looks JUST like his daddy!

Absolutely counts! A step is a step! He didn’t have to Gangnam style it across the room for it to count.

However, others joked that it looks like her husband, singer John Legend, taking his first steps because of just how much Miles looks like his father:

It’s awesome that John’s learning to walk again. One step at a time.

You shrunk your husband?

Jon learned how to walk?????

I can’t get over how much he looks like John! Holy crap! But yay! Walking!

According to Parents.com, most children learn to crawl, stand, and walk between the ages of 8 to 12 months.

Miles’s first step comes just weeks after Teigen revealed her son’s first word was “yeah.” The proud mom captured a conversation Miles had with his grandmother.
