Farmers Insurance Executives says my vehicle isn't valuable enough to repair, now their attorney is trying to force me not to seek indemnification against them???

Long Description

The look of Corporate Bullying… The CEO, CCO, and HOAC say “thank you your service” but we are going to have our attorney pressure you into taking what we’re offering instead of giving you indemnification.

On July 15, 2018, while on the freeway, myself and a couple others were involved in an accident with an unsafely secured canoe. Initially, I was given a rental vehicle, while the adjuster did his review, then I was told to return the rental vehicle and have since been without transportation. Farmers insurance, has been attempting to force me to accept what “they” call a settlement, which would release the guilty party and leave me with the repair bill. Since this accident, I have missed my 7 yr old’s football practices/games and now the season is over, he’s starting rugby and I won’t be able to attend, I missed my 12 yr old’s volleyball games, I’m not able to do any holiday shopping, won’t have transportation for Christmas, New Years, or my birthday. The terms Loss of Use and Loss of enjoyment of life have been far exceeded, as it has been 114 days w/o ANY transportation.

The Executives also tried to force me to correspond with them via telephone, but I refused so I wouldn’t be stuck with the term “hearsay”, and now I can post a few of the emails from these individuals and their moral misdeeds. I have yet to receive the indemnification they are obligated to provide or any relief of being without transportation. My mental health issues have been greatly aggravated and now Farmers has put their attorney up to attacking me with cases and legal jargon that have nothing to do with Farmers Insurance taking it upon themselves to place their own corporate value on my property. I was also told that the age of my vehicle was a factor, but the age of major components had no impact. Any vehicle over a decade old has no real value, but if you repair and replace major components on said vehicle and have documented history of everything, that places a higher value on your property [vehicle].

Farmers initially tried several different tactics to attempt to salvage my vehicle, when the repairs are minimal. And to top it off, my vehicle isn’t just ANY model of vehicle, it’s an icon. On it’s debut back in 99-2k it was the fastest production sedan on the planet. There are numerous examples of this vehicle, on the market, being sold at pretty decent prices, but those with documented repair/maintenance history are selling for a premium. A 2002 model recently sold for six figures, now it wasn’t really driven, but if this family sedan can still out sell vintage and restored muscle cars then this is definitely a well regarded piece of technological history. And anyone who knows me or even knows “of” me, knows there are 3 things I don’t do; I don’t neglect my kids, I don’t like injustice, and I DO NOT neglect my car.

Their attorney, told me that I was free to get an attorney and that I should reconsider Farmers’ offer before going to court. Well I have yet to see where the law permits The look of Corporate Bullying… The CEO, CCO, and HOAC say “thank you your service” but we are going to have our attorney pressure you into taking what we’re offering instead of giving you indemnification.

Their attorney, told me that I was free to get an attorney and that I should reconsider Farmers’ offer before going to court. Well I have yet to see where the law permits any corporation to place any monetary value on a person’s personal property vs repairing what was damaged and not compensating them for their punitive damages.

So to all my family and friends, please post this to your page or informational platforms you may have/be a part of, so I can gain some much needed attention on Farmers Insurance’s “CORPORATE BULLYING”… I will add a few emails in a following post… corporation to place any monetary value on a person’s personal property vs repairing what was damaged and not compensating them for their punitive damages.
