Every day, service men and women leave their families to fight for our country. They sacrifice precious moments and milestones with them so that we may have life, liberty, and freedom.

Following a six month deployment with the United States Marines, Corporal Brandon Crespo finally got to meet his one-month-old son Noah after he was forced to miss his birth.

As Crespo and his unit arrived and awaited dismissal, Crespo’s wife Frances held their newborn son in one hand and a sign in the other.

The sign read:

“Out of my way, I meet my daddy today.”

The video shows the moment Frances and Noah walked toward Crespo, and after being dismissed, Crespo running toward the two of them for an emotional embrace.

Before Crespo even reached Frances and his son, the marine broke down into tears. Crespo couldn’t hold back his emotions as he stretched out his arms to hold his baby boy for the very first time.

After holding his son against his chest, the proud father then kissed his wife after six months away.

The sweet intimate moment was caught on video as the rest of Crespo’s family looked on. Tears of joy streamed down their faces as Crespo and Noah officially met for the first time.
