Nearly a week after actor Chris Pratt and author Katherine Schwarzenegger became husband and wife, more details around their wedding day are being revealed.

Including the very special “something borrowed” Schwarzenegger wore on her big day.

As Dearly previously reported, Pratt and Schwarzenegger tied the knot on June 8 at the same California ranch where her great uncle John F. Kennedy and great aunt Jackie honeymooned years earlier.

Both Pratt and Schwarzenegger posted a photo from their wedding day on Instagram.

The pair wrote, in part:

Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.

Now, according to People, the veil Schwarzenegger is seen wearing in the photo was reportedly the bride’s something borrowed.

The 29-year-old paired her custom-made Giorgio Armani gown with the veil her mother, Maria Shriver, wore on her and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wedding day over three decades ago.

Schwarzenegger also wore the same pair of earrings that Shriver wore on her wedding day in 1986. A source told People that both Shriver and Schwarzenegger seemed very happy at their daughter’s wedding:

“The whole family took wedding photos, including her parents Maria [Shriver] and Arnold [Schwarzenegger]. Everyone just looked so happy.”

All of Schwarzenegger’s siblings and Pratt’s son Jack, whom he shares with his ex-wife Anna Faris, were also in attendance.

Shriver as yet to personally talk about her daughter’s wedding or how she felt about Katherine wearing her veil and her earrings.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger first began dating in the summer of 2018.
