A California mom remains frightened after a man smashed her windshield as her daughter recorded from the backseat on Tuesday.

KCAL9 reports, Veneranda Valencia had just picked up her daughters from school when she noticed she was being followed.

Her friend sat in the passenger seat, as her two daughters, ages 12 and 13, sat in the back.

Valencia said:

I looked in my rear view mirror. This guy was following me.”

Then, the “crazed” man reportedly used his white Jeep Cherokee to cut Valencia off. A video recorded by Valencia’s 13-year-old daughter shows the man approaching their vehicle before jumping on the hood in an apparent rage. He then can be seen punching the windshield repeatedly with his fists.

Valencia said:

I was just scared that he would pull out a gun or a knife or something.”

As KCAL9 reports, Valencia claims she and her friend have no idea what provoked the man.

The mother of two said:

It never crossed my mind that he would do that. Or approach like that. I feel like he’s not in his right state of mind. He needs help.”

According to KCAL9, police are searching for the suspect based on a blurred photo of his license plate, but Valencia fears her assailant may attack someone else.

She said:

He could be dangerous, more dangerous. He could hurt somebody else. I want him caught.”

Further, officers are seeking out other footage that shows the suspect’s vehicle from different angles. Those with information are asked to call Anaheim Police.

Something is left out of this story as to why this incident of road rage occurred. What triggered this man to follow the car driven by this woman and then stop her car by blocking her car so he could smash her window? I hope the other views from other cameras will show what triggered his road rage. She did something that triggered the attack.

That’s what I was thinking. She must have cut him off or did something to cause the road rage; BUT regardless, the man’s actions went too far!!!

ARE you people that stupid? Why are you always trying to put the blame on the victim? Would you put the blame on a rape victim if someone assaulted them…NO. It does not matter what set him off. He is an adult and should not have reacted like that. No matter what someone may or may not have done, it does not give him the right to destroy property or endanger someone. If she did something then he should have called the police.
