The same words that had Princess Jasmine and many “Aladdin” fans around the world in awe, left one 4-year-old, quite frankly, unimpressed.

I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
You last let your heart decide?

During a filmed conversation with her mom, little social media star Madison Jade had something very important to say before seeing the new movie.

She wanted to make one thing clear to Princess Jasmine — you don’t need a man to travel.

As Essence reports, while sitting in her car seat,  Madison said:

“Jasmine needs to go see the world by herself because Aladdin needs to just stay there and Jasmine can just go by herself.”

For starters, Madison said there wasn’t enough room on the magic carpet anyway.

She added:

“You don’t need a boy to take you to see the whole world.”

In a later part of the conversation, her mom asks her if it’s a good thing that in a lot of fairytales the princes rescue the princesses. Let’s just say Madison is all about independence.

The 4-year-old replied:

“But Mommy… the princess doesn’t need a prince to rescue her, she can rescue herself.”

To many of her followers, Madison made quite a few good points. Many of those in agreement commented under the little girl’s post.

The live-action remake of this Disney classic hit theaters on May 24.
