Retired NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa shared the first picture of their newborn daughter over the Fourth of July holiday.

Capri Kobe Bryant, lovingly known to her family as “Koko” was born on June 20.

The 37-year-old dad and his wife announced that they would be having their fourth little girl in January. The couple is already the parents to 16-year-old Natalia, 13-year-old Gianna, and 2-year-old Bianka.

On June 20, the family was beyond excited to announce baby ‘Koko” had arrived and that she’s a gorgeous bundle of joy.

Bryant wrote on Instagram:

We are beyond excited that our baby girl “Koko” has arrived!!

The Los Angeles Lakers veteran said he now has four princesses and shared a photo of the newborn baby swaddled in a pink blanket and sporting a flowery headband while sleeping.

The caption read:

Here’s our sweet baby girl! Capri Kobe Bryant “KoKo” 6/20/19

Fans and celebrities alike flooded the comments section of Bryant’s post as they celebrated Kobe and Vanessa’s growing family. One fan wrote:

She’s perfect!

Another said:

Congrats my brother? Now go for the starting five!

Fans congratulated Kobe but also teased about him being a father to only girls. Some fans wrote:

Congrats my guy. We still holding out for Kobe Bean II

Still waiting for Kobe Bryant JR.

0:4 bro keep producing.

In a previous interview with People, the retired Lakers star addressed the “trash talk” he’s been hearing about him only having girls after the birth of his third daughter.

He said:

“My friends say, ‘It takes a real man to make a boy.’ I’m like, ‘Dude, it takes a king to make a princess … get in line. It’s pretty cool for me ’cause it’s Daddy’s little princesses.”

Kobe said he’s proud to be a father of four girls no matter how some fans feel.

My oldest bro has 6 daughters. I have 2 other bros who have son’s. Even though men on a whole don’t appreciate it, science has proven it’s harder to produce a female than a male!
