Kim Kardashian revealed her wild-child days on the most recent episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and now she’s getting slammed for it.
In a conversation with Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, and sister Kendell Jenner, Kim admitted that she was high on drugs during some pretty major life events.
The conversation started with Scott asking Kim if she ever had a wild phase in her life:
Scott: “Well you were fun, right? At one time, like you were wild right?”
Scott: “It’s so weird to me, I can’t like picture you being a wild child.”
Kendall: “I’ve heard stories about you.”
Scott: “I’ve heard some stuff. You went to like Disney and you were all high or something.”
Kendall: “I didn’t know you like got high.”
Then Kim admitted that not only did she go to Disney high, but she was also on drugs when she went through with her first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas and while she recorded her infamous sex-tape with ex-boyfriend, Ray J.
“I got married on ecstasy. My first marriage. I did ecstasy once and I got married, I did it again and I made a sex tape. Like everything bad would happen.”
Both Scott and Kendall were shocked to learn that Kim was high on Ecstacy while filming the now public sex tape:
Scott: “You were high on ecstasy when you did the sex tape?!”
Kim: “Absolutely! Everyone knows it, like my jaw was shaking the whole time.”
Kim added that she “definitely went through a wild phase I would say in like my late teens,” but promised that she’s “not like that anymore.”
Fans of the show immediately took to Twitter to comment on Kim’s rather shocking admission.
Some thought it made her more relatable:
Oh jeez apparently @KimKardashian has been HUMAN and made mistakes **years** ago but that’s somehow an ‘influence’ on peoples lives today? I’m more influenced by her giant business balls than any stupid shit she did while high. Y’all are lame.

If anyone heard that and took it as Kim advising them to do drugs, holy crap is life going to be difficult for them 😂.
You know how many people in California who want to be famous, or who are minority famous, have sex tapes?

Others slammed her for admitting to doing drugs, as she is a role model to some of the younger generations:
Wow. Such a great influence on girls that idolize @KimKardashian

Yet another high moral standard to live by…take the show off the world is already lacking a low moral awareness.

Kim Kardashian, the mother of three said “she was on ecstasy while filming her infamous 2003 sex tape with Ray J.”
Kim Kardashian has 59 MILLION twitter followers.
Is there something I may be missing in those two factual statements?

According to Sunrise House, people are often misinformed when dealers describe Ecstasy as “the perfect drug,” when in reality it can cause a lot of harm to those who take it:
In reality, ecstasy is not a benign drug. In fact, it is a very strong and very persistent drug that has been associated with all sorts of negative side effects.
As Sunrise House reports, prolonged use of the drug can cause mental health concerns, which include:
- Continued use of the drug, despite knowledge that the drug can cause harm
- Diminished response to the drug
- Withdrawal effects when no drug use takes place
- Depression and difficulty concentrating when no drugs are present
Do you think Kim should have admitted her wild past on national television, or kept it to herself for the sake of the young boys and girls who look up to her?
