Reality star Kim Kardashian is now a mom to three healthy children, but her journey to motherhood wasn’t easy.

As Dearly reported, the 37-year-old opted for surrogacy for her third child after going through two high-risk pregnancies.

At the time, the star said that she would have “preferred” to carry her own child because she would have a greater sense of control.

But now, Kardashian is glowing about the process.

In an interview on Ashley Graham’s “Pretty Big Deal” podcast, the mother of three said that she had “the greatest experience” with surrogacy, People reports.

However, Kardashian said she was concerned that she wouldn’t have the same connection with her youngest, Chicago, because she didn’t carry her.

But all of those fears were alleviated when she met her daughter. The star said she thought “God” had planned it all along:

“I think I was so nervous to have a surrogate and to have that connection that God was like, ‘I’m going to make her look just like you.’”

Kardashian said that Chicago looks like her “twin” mixed with her son, Saint:

“It’s like the two of us in her.”

After her positive experience, Kardashian said that she’d recommend surrogacy to anyone. The mother of three said:

“All my fears of everything that I thought was gonna happen, like am I gonna connect? Am I gonna feel connected? All of that goes out the door and you just feel instantly connected.”

Chicago is now eight months old. Kardashian has two other children, North, 5, and Saint, 2.
