It’s been three months since Khloe Kardashian very publicly split with her baby’s father, Tristan Thompson, but she’s not interested in finding someone new.
The 34-year-old stopped by the “Divorce Sucks!” podcast with host Laura Wasser where she said that she’s busy focusing on herself and her 1-year-old daughter, True, TMZ reports.
Kardashian explained that she’s giving herself time to heal after the messy breakup with Thompson amid allegations of cheating:
“I really do think that you need to go through your feelings and have them. Don’t be afraid to have them.”
When asked about dating, the “Revenge Body” star added that she’s concentrated on raising her daughter for now:
“I’m not even thinking like that. […] I don’t care to be. I’m so in love with True and being with her and enjoying every minute. I know that probably just sounds like the typical answer, but I’m working. I’m working on myself, by body, my soul — that other cliche.”
Kardashian said that rushing into relationships often doesn’t work out. She’s content living her best life as a single mom:
“I’m just happy, and I want to filter through just whatever I feel like I need to filter through. But my focus right now is True. I don’t feel a sense of urgency to be in a relationship or even to go on a date. I don’t want to.”
Earlier this month, Kardashian hit back at a fan who criticized her relying on a nanny, Dearly reported.
The fan commented that the mom “literally can’t go to the market, a party, or lunch without her nanny.”
Kardashian responded that she regularly invites her nanny to “fun outings” because she can. The 34-year-old said:
We all love and enjoy the farmers’ market and it’s so fun to go places and create memories together.
Regardless of the mom-shaming, it seems clear that Kardashian is dedicated to raising her adorable daughter — with or without someone by her side.
