Kate Hudson’s baby girl, Rani Rose, is now a little over two months old. And she’s getting in some quality bonding time with her famous grandparents, Goldie Hawn, and Kurt Russell.
The bundle of joy was born to Hudson and her longtime boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, in October. Her unique name was inspired by Fujikawa’s grandfather.
According to Russell, the 39-year-old actress has long wanted a baby girl, Dearly reported.
He told Us Weekly that she has a different relationship with Rani compared to her two older sons from previous relationships. He said:
“It’s her first daughter. She’s got two boys. She’s a little different with the little girl. We’re really happy that she got [a girl] . . . and we’re proud of Danny and the relationship.”
And on Thursday, Hudson shared a photo of the grandparents cuddling up with baby Rani.
She wrote that Hawn and Russell were on “Grandma and Granpa duty,” and gave a little spoiler for Russell’s new film, “The Christmas Chronicles.” Hudson said:
Grandma and Grandpa duty… Or should I saw Mr and Ms Claus.
Fans couldn’t help but gush over the special moment between the grandparents and baby Rani. One Instagram users wrote:
Omg this melts my heart.
Just beautiful, love your parents!
Russell told Us Weekly that he can’t wait to see the baby girl experience her first Christmas. The actor said:
“She is the sixth grandchild, Kate’s first daughter. Along with the other five now, it is obviously a fantastic addition, and it will be fun just to watch her little eyes looking at the lights on the Christmas tree and taking it all in for the first time.”
Luckily, Russell only has a few more weeks to go before he can celebrate the holiday with his beloved granddaughter.
