In the past, Kim Kardashian-West has been mom-shamed for letting her oldest child, 6-year-old daughter North West wear makeup.

As Dearly previously reported, the reality star was dragged by her social media followers this past Christmas when North was seen sporting a red-lip in their family photo.

A group of people thought that it was inappropriate for a young girl North’s age to be wearing makeup, especially in public. However, there was also a group of women who supported the mom of four, saying that plenty of young girls—including their own—play with makeup all the time.

But now, Kardashian-West is admitting that strangers weren’t the only people upset with her for letting North wear makeup, so was her husband—North’s father—rapper Kanye West.

In an interview with E! News, the reality star and beauty mogul said that her daughter is no longer allowed to wear her or her aunt Kylie’s makeup because Kanye got upset over it:

“She loves makeup, but her dad won’t let her wear it. I think he had it, he changed all the rules. I’d let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something. I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip.”

Kardashian-West continued saying it got to point where her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, was even giving North pieces from her makeup collections:

“So, I kind of got in trouble for that. So, it’s now no more makeup.”

However, as the mom explained, the 6-year-old is still allowed to make her own fashion decision. So, odds are that Kanye wasn’t upset after Kardashian-West was mom-shamed last week for letting North wear hoop earrings.

What do you think about Kanye’s stand against makeup?
